ZAMBOANGA AIRSOFT RULES – 1st Edition (June 2008)

Safety First on the playing area

• NO Real Firearms
• NO Participant will be allowed to play if under the influence of drugs or alcohol
• NO goggles, NO Mask …..NO play
• Maximum velocity of 450 fps using ICS .20 BBs, to be based on an XCORTECH-X3200 chronograph (the Official Chrono will be available for testing at the Summit Center starting July 12, 2008 to paid participants)
• Never take off eye/face protection during play
• Shooting more than 2 seconds at an opponent at close range (Five meters or less) is discouraged.

Player’s Elimination

• Direct hit to body
• Friendly kill
• Knife kill with a reasonable tap on the shoulder of the opponent (must be from behind or blind side of the opponent)
• Two players on point blank is a “DRAW”, both players will be eliminated

Penalties

• Black Card – Expulsion of the entire team the match
• Red Card – Expulsion of the player from the match
• Yellow Card – Penalties per player will be assessed for deduction from the team points.

• NO hit call
• NO Hostages/NO hiding behind non-combatants (Marshals/hit players)
• No Ricochet Hits
• NO holding or grappling
• NO rough physical contact between players
• NO holding on to opponent’s gun
• NO blind fire
• Avoid inflicting unnecessary pain
• Dead man tell no tales
• Umpire/Marshal’s decision is final
• Observe proper decorum at all times (Complaints must be coursed thru the team captain)

• -Complaints will not be entertained by field marshals
• -15 man team
• -Tournament is limited to 12 teams/Groups. Only one (1) slot per team/group is permitted.
• -Players are only allowed to carry two (2) extra standard hi-cap mags for primary and side-arms.
• -Single round robin tournament
• -Three (3) representatives per team/group shall be required for marshalling.
• -Marshal representatives may play for their respective team for a maximum of 4 games only.
• -Marshals of playing teams will not be allowed to officiate in the playing field to call hits, but may help in other functions like escorting hit players to neutral zones.
• -Host club will compete
• -Registration fee is P500.00/participant/player and must be paid on or before July 12, 2008.

NAMES OF REPRESENTATIVES FOR MARSHALS MUST BE SUBMITTED THREE (3) DAYS AFTER THE RECEIPT OF THE INVITATION.

THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS COMPETITION IS TO ORGANIZE ZAMBOANGA CITY’S MARSHALS FOR FUTURE COMPETITIONS AS WELL AS THE STANDARDIZATION OF RULES, HENCE, THE REQUIRED REPRESENTATIVES FROM EACH TEAM.


The Rules above are subject to change before the final briefing as the need arises.

We encourage suggestions/participation from each team as this is a joint effort to standardize both marshaling and the rules of the game we all love to play.
